New modified ATM Transactions by Banks in 2017 in India

Image
The ATM breach in India made the Central to ensure more security towards the ATM transitions. To make the money transition more safer the Reserve Bank of India(RBI) going to merge the account of the customers of the banks with the fingerprint given by the customer in their Aadhaar based Bio-metric Authentication.  Their will also be retinal scanners facilities by the upcoming year 2017. This will reduce the theft of money through ATM and the help to monitor each individuals transition by monitoring the transaction the black money can also be made to a control because RBI continuously monitor the transaction of the black money holders.

Zero Energy Building & Alternate Building Materials

Image
A zero-energy building, also known as a zero net energy ( ZNE ) building, net-zero energy building (NZEB), or net zero building, is a building with zero net energy consumption, meaning the total amount of energy used by the building on an annual basis is roughly equal to the amount of renewable energy created on the siteor in other definitions by renewable energy sources elsewhere. These buildings consequently contribute less overall greenhouse gas to the atmosphere than similar non-ZNE buildings. They do at times consume non-renewable energy and produce greenhouse gases, but at other times reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas production elsewhere by the same amount.

Reserve Bank of India(RBI) order

Image
Due to the recent theft of the money from the banks,  The Reserve Bank today asked banks to issue only chip-based and  PIN   enabled debit and credit cards from September 2016, a move aimed at protecting customers from frauds. Some banks have moved to EMV chip and pin cards issuance, but a large number of banks continue to issue magnetic stripe cards.  Magnetic Tape cards:   Discovered in  1969 by  Forrest Parry, from the basis of the magnetic tape recorders used in World War 2.  The magnetic strip in holds all your account details.  It can be easily hacked by the skimmers. EMV Cards:   These cards have their own integrated circuit and has the own security password and also an sim card like chip embedded in it.   Hence these can't be easily hacked. So people please convert to EMV cards and pin enabled credit and debit cards.

Big Temple(Brihadeeshwarar Temple) -Thanjavur

Arulmozhivarman, a Tamil emperor who was popular as Rajaraja Chola I laid out foundations of  Brihadeeswarar  Temple  during 1002 CE. It was first among other great building projects by Tamil Chola. Main purpose of building this temple was to grace throne of Chola Empire with compliance of one command Rajaraja Chola I receive in a dream. Grandeur and scale is in Chola tradition. A symmetrical and axial geometry rules layout of this temple. Temples from same period and two following centuries are expressions of Tamils Chola power, artistic expertise and wealth. Emergence of these types of features, such as multifaceted columns along with projecting signals of square capitals signifies arrival of Chola style, which was new at that time. Brihadeeswarar Temple’s build was like one royal temple for displaying emperor’s vision for relationship and power to universal order. This temple was one site of primary royal ceremonies, such as anointing emperor and to link em

SOLAR POWER TREES

Image
India Scientist have innovated a Solar Tree that has solar panel as their leaves to collect the solar energy. You may wonder whats the tree is about but the tree ha so much advantages when compared to the normal power solar panel installation over large area. ADVANTAGES:   1) Since large number of solar panels can be placed in an vertical manner the area consumed by the solar panels is reduced and hence it can be save a lot more area.It reduces the area from 400sq.m to 4sq.m.    2) It has an sprinkler at the top so it washes the solar panel thus increasing the efficiency of the panels.    3)It has a battery back up of 2hrs battery capacity even it is fully charged.    4)It absorbs light even after the sunset. FUTURE MODIFICATIONS:   1)Sensors were going to be placed so that the panels will directly focus on the sun to get more energy. ENERGY PRODUCTION:   Enegy production is about 5KW of electricity. COST:   Cost is going to be a problem for the low economic peo

Polymeric fibre concrete pavement

The Bituminous concrete pavements mostly used in India. But it is not economical and easily get damaged. So maintenance cost is high. But we newly introduce PFCP. In this pavement compare to bituminous pavement life time high and 20-30% cost is less.In the polymer fiber concrete pavement the polyester or polypropylene is used as a fiber. it also take more stress so it .does not get any damage or settlement.

Electricity form water without any any energy

Scientist Dr.R.K.Kotala and his team has successfully find a way to produce electricity from water at Delhi's National Physical Laboratory (NPL) that can be produced at room temperature itself. Basic concept:       They used an Nano porous magnesium ferrite to split the water in Hydronium(H3O) ions and Hydroxide(OH) ions.       And used the silver and Zinc electrodes to make the cell to produce electricity. Working:       The Hydroelectric cell uses the magnesium ferrite of 2inch dia to produce 150ma of current.       When it is connected in series with four cells they produced 3.70volts which is capable to run a small plastic fan or a LED light of  1 Watt.        It can also be extended to one week. From the publication: " Dissociation of water molecule occurs on octahedrally coordinated unsaturated suface cations and oxygen vacancies created by lithium substitution in magnesium ferrite. Lower synthesis temperature of ferrite has generated nanopores

Construction concept of Kallanai Dam (Grand Anicut)

Image
The Kallanai Dam was “[built] during the second century AD by Karikalan, a king of southern India's old Chola Dynasty” and “is also one of the oldest irrigation systems in the world that is still in use” (Agoramoorthy and Hsu, 2008). “The purpose of the dam was to divert the waters of the Kaveri across the fertile Thanjavur delta region for irrigation via canals. Since the English arrived in the eighteenth century, the Kallanai has been tampered with and other hydraulic structures have been added nearby. It is therefore difficult to extrapolate from the current situation into the past to understand the workings of the anicut” (Bijker, 2007).   Approximate Year of Completion 200 AD.The exact location of the Kallanai is in the Trichy District. Construction details                                                                                Besides attracting a large number of tourists, the dam has fascinated historians and enginee

IS IT NECESSARY TO PUT MAIN BARS IN BOTTOM IN SLABS?

Image
Before explanation let we see the bending mechanism of the slabs. Do this if you want more clear understanding. Take a long size note let it be your slab. Now hold the two long sides and try to bend your hands towards you. you can find that the shorter sides get sagging(i.e) bended the same goes for the one way slab. So for the picture above you can see the span of the slab between the supports tends to sag or positive bending moment. Hence the lower part of the slab subjected to tension, we all well known that concrete is weak in tension to over come that we provide Main reinforcement at the bottom of the slab. The same goes for two way but in both the direction i.e in longer as well as shorter span.
